The party responsible for data processing on this website is:

Logfire S.à r.l.-S

Email: info@logfire.lu
Phone: +352 26876690
Available: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

VAT ID: LU32475684

2. General principles

We process personal data of our users only to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website and our services (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract / pre-contractual measures), or where required by law (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR, e.g. retention obligations for sales records).

3. Providing the website / server logs

When you visit our website, technical information (IP address, date/time, page requested, browser type) is automatically collected in server log files, for technical provision and security (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest). The website is hosted by a provider on servers in the European Union, with whom we have a data processing agreement. Log files are deleted after 30 days at the latest.

4. Cookies, statistics and spam protection

The cookies we use are listed in our cookie notice. Necessary cookies are based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The two Google services below are only loaded after you consent in the cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie at the bottom left.

Google Analytics. With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, to understand which pages are visited and how often. This includes pages viewed, device type, browser, approximate location (country/region) and time on site. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. The data is deleted after 14 months.

Google reCAPTCHA. We protect our forms (contact, custom PC) against spam with Google reCAPTCHA v3. reCAPTCHA evaluates, among other things, the IP address, browser and device information and behaviour on the page, and sends them to Google. Without your consent reCAPTCHA is not loaded; the forms then cannot be sent, but you can always reach us by phone or email.

Google may also process data in the USA. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has issued an adequacy decision. More information: Google privacy policy.

5. Contacting us and requests

When you contact us via the form, by email or by phone, we process the data you provide (name, email, phone, topic, preferred way of help, language, message) to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). Each request gets a reference number; you receive a confirmation by email. The data is deleted once it is no longer needed, unless a legal retention obligation applies.

Remote support with HelpWire. If you want remote help, we send you a link to HelpWire (Electronic Team, Inc.). We can only see your screen after you start the program and confirm the session. HelpWire processes the data needed for the connection (e.g. IP address, device information). Legal basis: carrying out your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Google reviews. The Google reviews shown on our site are fetched regularly by our own server. Displaying them does not send any of your data to Google.

6. Customer account (once available)

This section applies once the customer area is introduced (not part of the MVP).

When registering a customer account, we process the data you provide (name, email, address if applicable) to manage your account and show your repair status, vouchers, and — once introduced — loyalty points (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

7. Payment processing

Payments may be processed via our payment provider Stripe. The data required for payment processing (e.g. name, payment details) is transferred to Stripe. Stripe may process data outside the EU/EEA (including the US); appropriate safeguards are in place (EU Standard Contractual Clauses). Alternatively, we offer payment on site or by invoice, in which case no data is transferred to Stripe.

8. Recipients of data / processors

We only share data where necessary to perform a contract or where legally required. Providers used: our hosting provider (servers in the EU, see section 3), Google (Analytics and reCAPTCHA, only with your consent, see section 4) and HelpWire (remote support, only at your request, see section 5). Planned: Stripe (payment processing, once introduced).

9. Retention & deletion

We store personal data only as long as necessary for its purpose, or as required by law. Deletable on request: support/ticket history, email/contact history, customer account data (with the exception below). Not deletable before the statutory period expires: sales/invoice records (voucher purchases, orders) — Luxembourg law generally requires business records to be kept for 10 years (Art. 16 Code de Commerce).

10. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17, unless a retention obligation applies), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and to object to processing (Art. 21). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNPD. To exercise your rights, contact info@logfire.lu.

11. Changes to this policy

We will update this privacy policy as new features (e.g. appointment booking, live chat, loyalty points) are introduced that involve additional data processing.
