Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 22 October 2026
1. Scope
These terms apply to all contracts between
Logfire S.à r.l.-S1, rue Kummel
L-6310 Beaufort, Luxembourg
Email: info@logfire.lu · Phone: +352 26 87 66 90
RCS Luxembourg: B246845 · VAT: LU32475684
("we") and our customers, whether private individuals (consumers), businesses, associations or municipalities. Deviating terms of the customer only apply if we agree to them in writing.
2. Our services
- Computer and phone help: advice, setup, troubleshooting and repair in our workshop in Beaufort, at your home, by phone or by remote support.
- Sale of devices in our shop, on request with setup (Ready2Go) and data transfer (DatenTransfer+).
- Custom PCs: selecting parts, assembling and testing a computer to your wishes.
- Websites and apps: design and development, plus hosting, maintenance and support by subscription.
The exact scope follows from the description on our website, our quote or our agreement with you.
3. Quotes and conclusion of contract
Enquiries via our form, by email or by phone are non-binding. A contract is concluded when you place an order and we accept it, for example by confirmation, by starting work or when buying in our shop. Written quotes (e.g. for websites, apps or custom PCs) are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
4. Prices
The prices in our price list, on the website or in the quote at the time of ordering apply. Prices for private customers in the shop and for computer help include VAT. Prices for websites, apps and subscriptions are, where stated, net prices plus 17 % VAT.
Work at hourly rates is charged by actual time: in our workshop per quarter hour started; for visits to your home, the first half hour in full and then per quarter hour started. For visits to your home, the travel fee from the price list is added. If a job looks set to cost clearly more than agreed, we contact you first.
5. Payment
In the shop you pay cash or by card on collection. Invoices are payable within 14 days without deduction. For custom PCs we ask for a 50 % deposit before ordering the parts. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Goods delivered remain our property until paid in full.
6. Repairs and computer help
- Backups: please back up your data before handing us a device, as far as you can. We work carefully but cannot rule out data loss during a repair.
- Estimate: on request, we tell you the expected cost after the diagnosis, before repairing. If you decline the repair, only the diagnosis is charged.
- Collection: we let you know as soon as your device is ready. If it is not collected within 3 months despite a reminder, we may charge a reasonable storage fee or dispose of it as permitted by law.
- Remote support: we only see your screen if you start and confirm the session yourself. You can end it at any time.
- Software and licences: for software you ask us to install, you must hold the necessary licences.
7. Buying devices and custom PCs
New devices come with the statutory two-year legal guarantee from handover. Any manufacturer's warranty applies in addition under the manufacturer's terms; we help you with the process. A custom PC is built to your specification; changes after the parts have been ordered are only possible if the supplier allows them.
8. Websites, apps and subscriptions
- Cooperation: you provide texts, images, logos and access details in good time. You confirm that you hold the necessary rights to this content and indemnify us against third-party claims.
- Acceptance: after completion you check the result. If you report no material defects within 14 days, or once you use the website or app, it is deemed accepted.
- Rights: after full payment you receive the unlimited right to use the website or app created for you. Your domain belongs to you.
- Hosting package and all-in subscription: monthly term, cancellable with one month's notice to the end of a month, in writing or by email. On cancellation we hand over your content and help you move your domain.
- Third-party costs: Apple and Google developer account fees and other third-party costs are paid directly to the provider concerned.
- Visibility: we cannot guarantee any particular ranking on Google or in AI search.
9. Consumers' right of withdrawal
If you conclude a contract as a consumer exclusively by phone, email or internet, or outside our shop, you may withdraw from it within 14 days without giving reasons. For services the period starts when the contract is concluded, for goods on receipt. A simple message to info@logfire.lu is enough.
There is no right of withdrawal for contracts concluded in our shop, for goods made to your specification (e.g. custom PCs) and for services fully performed before the end of the period at your express request. If you ask us to start before the period ends and then withdraw, you pay for the services already provided.
10. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are only liable for foreseeable, typical damage. For data loss our liability is limited to the cost of restoring the data that would have been needed with regular backups. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
11. Data protection
How we handle your data is described in our privacy policy.
12. Dispute resolution, applicable law and jurisdiction
If there is a dispute, we first seek to talk with you. Consumers may also contact the Médiateur de la consommation in Luxembourg. Luxembourg law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods; mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected. For business customers, the place of jurisdiction is Diekirch.
If any provision of these terms is invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
