Why native

A real app,
not a website in a frame.

Native means the app is built for iPhone and Android. It starts quickly, runs smoothly and uses everything the phone can do – exactly what your users expect.

Push notifications

Road closure, event or collection: your message appears on the phone right away, even when the app is closed.

Map and location

Hiking trails, sights or the way to you – with the user’s location and, if you like, an emergency feature.

Manage content yourself

You enter events, news and pictures in a simple admin area. The app shows them straight away.

Calendar and reminders

Events and waste collection with a reminder at the right time – so nobody misses anything.

Report with a photo

Residents or customers report a problem with a photo and location. The report goes straight to you.

Multilingual

Luxembourgish, German, French, English: the app speaks your users’ language.

Who it’s for

For everyone who’s close
to their people.

An app pays off when people regularly need something from you: dates, news, information on the go.

Municipalities

Information for residents, dates, waste calendar and reports in one place – like in Beaufort and Berdorf.

Associations and tourism

Programmes, maps and news for members and guests, on the go without searching the web.

Businesses

A direct line to regular customers: offers, news and dates, without going through social media.

How it works

From the idea
to the store

01

Conversation

We work out what the app should do and for whom. By phone, by video or at your place.

02

Concept and quote

You get a draft of the key screens and a fixed price with a schedule.

03

Development

You test the app early on your own phone and give feedback until it’s right.

04

Store and support

We publish the app on the App Store and Google Play and keep it up to date afterwards.

FAQ

Questions about your own app

What does an app cost?

That depends on what the app should do. An app with news and events is different from one with a map, a reporting feature and an admin area. That’s why we don’t give a flat price here.

After the first conversation you get a fixed price – in writing, with a schedule. It often makes sense to start small and extend the app later.

What’s the difference between a native app and a web app?

A native app is built for iPhone and Android and installed from the store. It is faster, partly works without internet and can make full use of push notifications, location and the camera.

A web app is a website that feels like an app. It is cheaper but can do less. If a website is enough for your goal, we’ll tell you honestly.

Who manages the content?

You do: you get a simple admin area where you enter events, news and pictures. The app shows everything straight away – without a new store update. If you prefer, we can manage it for you.

How does the app get into the store?

We take care of it: submission, description, images and the review by Apple and Google. The app appears under your name.

This requires a developer account with Apple and with Google. You pay these fees directly to Apple and Google (yearly for Apple, one-off for Google). We help you set them up.

What happens after launch?

Apple and Google release new versions of their systems every year. For your app to keep working and stay in the store, it needs regular adjustments. We handle that as ongoing support – and you have a fixed contact for new ideas.

How long does it take?

That depends on the scope. With the quote you get a schedule showing when you’ll have the first test version on your phone and when the app goes into the store.
